Hello, I hope the weather is treating you well and you’re all in good health! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Heidi Pas, I am 11 years old and this is my 7th year in 4-H. I attend Elmer Elson Elementary School in Mayerthorpe, AB where I am in grade six. My family operates a dairy farm and runs a herd of Angus/Simmental cattle northeast of Rochfort Bridge. Enjoying the outdoors, drawing and playing hockey are my favorite activities to do during my spare time. This year I have raised an Angus/Simmental steer, who I named Nelson. Nelson is a black hided, thick steer that will taste fantastic on the BBQ this summer! I have kept Nelson on a healthy feed regime to ensure perfect marbling in your steaks. I enjoy raising 4-H projects and this will be my third steer. Nelson is penned with my brother's steer and we work together to raise our animals. This year has definitely been different, but I have raised a steer that I am very proud of. We have a slaughter spot booked for June 10, if you are interested in using our preferred butcher. Your interest in Nelson is greatly appreciated and he can be viewed anytime at our farm. I am always grateful for my supporters and previous buyers, words can’t express how grateful I am.
