Hi, my name is Tacee French. I am in Grade 7 at the Mayerthorpe High School. This is my fourth year in 4-H in the Mayerthorpe Beef Club. In my spare time I enjoy helping on the farm, playing sports and showing cows in the summer months. I joined 4-H because I wanted to learn more about how to properly raise cattle and for the many experiences provided through 4-H. 4-H has taught me how to run a meeting, record keeping, public speaking, and proper grooming and clipping skills. My Simmental steer, Chunk was purchased from my Grandpa’s farm. The profit I make from selling Chunk will go towards my education savings. I do have a spot booked at Lundstrom Custom Cutting on June 9th if you choose to use it. Thank you to Wigley Ventures for buying my steer last year and I hope that you will support the Lac Ste.
