Steers and lambs are located at each members' home in the Anselmo, Mayerthorpe and Cherhill areas.

Team Sekura Auctions has been conducting 4-H auctions since the 60’s. We have converted these traditionally “LIVE” auctions to “ONLINE Timed” auctions in effort to help our 4-H kids during COVID-19. Please support our 4-H kids during these challenging times.

To Bid Online:

To bid online you must register online by clicking on “register to bid” or “login”. You will require a valid credit card or a letter from your bank. There is no online buyers fee for this auction. Bidding and Bid Increments:

Calves will be sold by the 100 lbs weight with minimum bidding increments of $5.00 per 100 lbs. For example: If you bid $205 dollars per 100 lbs, its is the equivalent of $2.05 per lb ($205 dollars = $2.05 per lb).

Packing Plant or Pick up Options:

Members have spots booked at various local butchers; Dan Custom Meats (Barrhead), K&D Meats (Barrhead), Lundstrom Custom Cutting (Sangudo), North Country Market (Anselmo), Pembina Valley Meats (Magnolia), Sangudo Custom Meat Packers, Schleckers Meats (Carvel), Sullivan Meat Shop (Drayton Valley)
With projects being at members' homes members are willing to transport steers or lambs to the place of the buyers choice. Buyers are able to pick up their purchase if they wish and then transport themselves. Please have your phone on and available as the 4-H member will contact you at the close of auction to receive your instructions of what you would like done with your purchase of a steer or market lamb.
