Hi, my name is Reese Wildman and this is my 6th year in 4-H. I would like to thank Ste Anne Gas for purchasing my steer last year. Your consistent support of 4-H is greatly appreciated. My steer this year is named Freddy. Freddy is the first home raised steer that I have shown and he is even out of a bull that I am the breeder of. When Freddy was born his tag number was 4H and I knew from that moment on that he would be my next 4-H steer. I’m excited that I will get to show my steer this year, even though it might not be a regular achievement day. Showing cattle is my passion and I do it outside of 4-H throughout the year. The money I earn from the sale of Freddy will go towards my future education and growing my purebred Angus herd. Freddy weighed 1250 pounds on April 29th and is still growing at a consistent rate. I expect him to finish around 1350 pounds. I have a butcher spot booked with Schlecker’s meats from Stony Plain if the buyer requires it.
