Hello there, my name is William Madsen. I am turning twelve in August and this is my first year in Anselmo Willing Workers 4-H. I enjoyed highway clean up and volunteering. I am homeschooled along with my three siblings Wesley, Kenya and Ammie. I spend a lot of my free time running farm equipment, such as combines and tractors. I also enjoy dirt biking and snowmobiling. This year I have had a lot of fun learning how to care for my steer. My steers name is Asteal, he is a black Angus x Simmental with a white seven on his face. He is a wild one but he will be a delicious one so if you want to eat some yummy beef, Asteal’s the one!! After all, he is Asteal of a deal! We have a slaughter spot booked in for Asteal at Sullivan Meat Shop in Drayton Valley. If you would like to use this spot it is scheduled for mid June.
