My name is Cory Commandeur and I have been a member of the Anselmo Willing Workers for the past 9 years. I am currently working off and on the farm full time now as I have just completed my first year of university for my bachelor of science in Agriculture, I am currently attending the University of Alberta and hope to one day be able to go to vet school. Over my past 9 years, 4-H has been one of the most significant parts of my life as it has given me so many amazing opportunities and met lots of amazing people. My time is mostly spent working on our busy beef farm where I am the second generation of beef farmers. My main pastime would be watching hockey. My animal this year is Big Red, a commercial Simental that is out of one of my cows that was my first heifer to go through 4-H. I am very proud to have my own animal be in the 4-H program. We are always proud of our animals on our farm and Big Red here is no different. I hope that everyone is safe and well and I am sure that if you’re looking for some AAA beef, Big Red is your guy.
