My name is Kameron Brereton and I am 15 years old. This is my first year in the Lobstick 4-H club. I live on a small farm just outside of Evansburg, AB. I have two calves, my market steer and my heifer project. This year I have a Simmental Angus cross steer named Moe and a Simmental cross heifer named Curly. We bought them last March as small calves. The reason I called them this is because there were three calves that I could've chosen, so I named them after the three stooges. During my short time in 4-H, I’ve learned so much about animal handling and livestock management. Hopefully I can learn more in the future. Working with my calves has been good. They have put on a sizable amount of weight since I started the project. Working with them has been a pretty good experience. I am working with them to make them presentable for achievement day. Thank you for your interest in my market steer project. If you want to know more about my steer project, you can contact me at kambrereton2020@gmail.com. Please tell me what you think of Moe.
