I am Rhianna Riehl. I am 11years old and this is my 1st year of 4-H. This year I am part of the Lobstick Beef 4-H club! I live on a small farm outside of Wildwood. On my farm we raise birds including Ducks, Geese, Chickens and Turkeys. We also have horses and some cattle. This year I have chosen a Black Angus named Jefferson. Jefferson was born on my aunt's farm, he was born on March 6th 2020. When we started our 4-H year Jefferson weighed 725lbs. I chose Jefferson because he looked calmer than my other choice and bigger. So far, everything is going great. One of my favorite things about 4-H is working with my steer! At first I was nervous getting near him but now I am comfortable with him around. He is doing amazing with the halter and likes getting brushed. I also enjoy walking him around while giving him some occasional alfalfa cubes.
