My name is Amelia Madsen. This is my first year in the Anselmo Willing Workers 4H club and I have learned a lot of information! Some of the things I liked doing this year was public speaking, volunteering, and highway cleanup. I am in grade 7 and me, along with my 3 siblings homeschool. When I'm not helping out around the farm, helping mom with the kids, or doing school, I enjoy playing with our dog Bear or sewing down in my room. My market steer's name is "Big Mac". He is a Black Angus x Simmental that I bought from Mr Callioux. If you want a full freezer this summer, then "Big Mac" will agree with your stomach! We have a slaughter spot booked in for Big Mac at Sullivan Meat Shop in Drayton Valley. If you would like to use this spot it is scheduled for mid June.
