My name is Tyler Erickson. I have been a member of the Mayerthorpe 4-H Beef Club for 7 years. 4-H has taught me some very useful skills like public speaking, volunteering, and being a role model for younger members. Over the past several years I have been able to attend 4-H camps at Battle Lake, and District and Regional Public Speaking, where I have had a lot of fun and met new friends. I am in Grade 10 at BCHS. When I'm not helping on the farm you could find me playing sports such as hockey and baseball. My homegrown steer project is "BERT" He is a Black Angus that I picked from our family herd. If you are looking for some Grade A beef for the BBQ, Bert is your guy! We have a butcher spot booked for MID-JUNE at Dan Custom Meats (Barrhead)!
