Howdy! My name is Taydyn Robertson, I’m 13 years old and this is my 3rd year with the Two Rivers 4-H Beef Club. This is my steer Chuck and he is a Charolais/Black Angus cross. Chuck is from similar blood lines as my 4-H steer from last year. I picked Chuck out from our family’s herd because of his correct confirmation and his overall style. He was born on April 26th , 2020 and he caught my attention because of his quiet temperament that he showed as a calf. At our clubs’ weigh day last November he weighed 580 lbs. I find him unique because he loves his independence without the halter on, but as soon as I put on the halter he is more than willing to do what I ask!
