Hi! My name is Peyton Jeffery. Currently I am 13 years old and this year is my 4th year of 4-H. I live on a cow calf operation/ feedlot 15 minutes north of Drayton Valley with my 3 siblings and parents. For this year I have a Charolais cross black Angus steer… (we call that cross a silver because of the distinct silver colour). My steers name is Bentley. Bentley was born in early May in one of ours groups of cows here at the farm. Bentley is a very stretchy deep sided steer with lots of muscle on him. He should be excellent eating. As a 4-H member I greatly appreciate the life skills 4-H teaches us, especially one of my Favorites communications, as well as learning to do the work necessary to raise a steer and being rewarded for that work at the end of the year.
